Canadian Special Events recognizes the valuable asset we have in the future generations of event professionals and we strongly encourage students enrolled in formal event education to participate through our hands-on volunteer program.
As a B2B event we don't offer class tours or “field trips; however, if you are a professor and want to discuss a CSE Experience project or student group rates we have many ways for students and schools to get involved.
Here are a few options on how you can participate.
A Guided Tour of the CSE Live Show
CSE Live allows event planning students to pre-register for a guided tour of the show. You will have a chance to see exhibitor booths, the show floor, ask questions of your host and more. The guided student tour is free, but pre-registration is required, and space is limited.
Register for Student Rates
We offer student rates for the conference. These rates are exclusive to full-time students who have currently enrolled in event management post-secondary programs. Proof of enrollment will is required. Email and ask us for the student rate.
Volunteer to be Part of CSE Live
An event is made up of tiny parts that together create one amazing experience. We believe that the best planners are the ones willing to get there early and stay until the clients are long gone; willing to do whatever job needs to be done, whether it’s greeting a VIP or introducing a speaker, managing a move-in schedule or making sure the guests all get on the bus. If this describes you, then we want you on our team and encourage you to apply for a role on our event team at CSE Live. Limited spots are available.
